Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SnapQuote AI platform, website, and related services (the "Service") provided by SnapQuote AI ("SnapQuote", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. The Service

SnapQuote provides an AI-powered chat widget and supporting tools that qualify website visitors, collect project requirements, generate price estimates, and schedule appointments for contractors and local service businesses. Quotes generated by the Service are estimates prepared from the pricing rules and catalog data you configure; you are responsible for reviewing and honoring (or amending) any estimate before entering a binding agreement with your customer.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Sign-in is provided via Google OAuth; you may revoke SnapQuote's access from your Google Account settings at any time.

4. Your Data

You retain all rights to the data you provide to the Service and to the lead and conversation data collected by your widget ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service — including the content of your widget and any connected data sources such as calendars or advertising accounts — complies with applicable laws and with the terms of the connected services.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties except as agreed in writing.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.

6. Fees

Paid plans are billed as described at the time of purchase. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice; changes apply at your next renewal.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by SnapQuote and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other brand features. Feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated content, including estimates, may contain errors and should be reviewed before being relied upon.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapQuote will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 4 and 7–9) will survive.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to account holders by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
